Yesterday, 30 August'08, my street had the annual party and we called it "Street Party". Sounds cool right? hahas^^ In 2005, an article in a newspaper had a report on our street party!!! Hahas^^
Friendliest street in Singapore it says...
This year's street party had games as usual but something was different...too few families ook part, unlike the past few years.T.T The reason might be because many families moved away and the new families are shy to take part. Many children I saw were new. But overall, I did had a great time with my neighbours!!

Teachers' Day celebration
Yo!
what's up?
Today is a "bad day" man...lols...wakakaka...
Supposed to do photography today...but ended up going around helping others...
Haiz...nvm...
Anyway, today is the last day for my chinese teacher...he is going bac to NIE...with him gone, my old chinese teacher will be back and I don't want!!!! HELP!!!! He teach us like as though he is a zombie...ahh!!!!
o ya...the photography members on duty today did well and I am grateful for their help.
The videography members did well too!!
hahas...^^

A chinese teacher
Just finished printing out the cards, fast right? hahas^^
Today, 潘老师, my Chinese teacher, treated us pizzas to eat...it is his second last day...
tomorrow, it will be a memorable day for him becoz it is also teachers' day and his last day at the same time. Today, he taught my class and 2E2 for the last lesson. We had a test on creating sentence with the words we chose... quite complicated to say here but i will roughly explain how the test went on:
First, we sat in a big oval shape in the middle of my classroom. Second, 潘老师 will choose a student,A. Student A will then have to put his hand in a bag of words and pick a paper. The words on the paper is what he had to make a sentence with. If Student A could not answer, he would then have to do a catwalk or sing a song and then the paper would be passed on to the person on the right. But if Student A could make a sentence, he or she will then need not do a catwalk or sing a song. Instead, he could hold onto the paper and redeem sweets later on and he can choose the next person he wants to "sabo".
It was a fun activity indeed^^ After the test, he told us in chinese that there are many ways to learn Chinese and not only sitting at our desk and listen to the teacher talking all the way. He also said that he hoped we will all continue to learn Chinese.
Everyone felt so touched when he said that...hahas^^
My friend and I felt guilty because it was 潘老师 leaving and instead of we treating him to a meal, he treated us to pizzas. OMG...

Todae is a busy day for me and the rest of the ICT students...so much things for us to do...
clear the memory cards, charge all batteries and keep all the equipmants we will be using in a box. I am in-charge of photography tomorrow and I am so nervous!!! Although it is not going to be my first major event, I am still quite excited about it. And i can foresee that the PA people will panick... not that I am cursing them or what, but it usually happens... last minute changes cause this to happen, and of course, i hope tomorrow will go on smoothly...^^

Another problem...
Now, another problem surfaced in my CCA. Videocameras. WHAT!? okok relax... there is actually 4 videocameras labelled as HD1,2,3,4. Long time ago, HD 2 went missing and HD4 has spoiled long time ago, so now, there is only 2 left. All along, we use HD 1, 3 to take video for every afternoon assembly. but one day, when I need to draw out one videocam to take video for teacher's day, I realised that the two videocams have spoiled...no idea how... The next day, I realised that...to be continued...
Projects
Hey I am back!
guess what? I am to do a research about Germany's food culture and educational system...
the educational system sounds boring for me to do research...food culture sounds interesting to do to me, partly because my oldest brother have been to Germany before i guess. If I didn't remember wrongly, he said somthing about the many kinds of sausages and that almost every meal, tofu is to be seen. Their staple food i think...hahas^^
Just now I said that my friend, y2, has something on...so now the two topics she and me are assigned to, will most likely be me doing it for now...don't want her to be so busy...and most likely if i tell her about this two topics, she will insist on doing I think, and even if she do, she might be thinking about her problem...can't say.hahas^^
Now, i will be quite busy hahas^^ with all the CCA problems I have now, and this project research and oh ya, my IPW project. Now you know why i did not update my blog everyday...too busy^^ hahas.LOLS.
For my IPW project, I am the leader of my group...sounds cool right? but not exactly because my group mates can't be bothered to do anything...started off as me doing only, but another groupmate somehow took "pity" on me so he decided to help out.Now it sounds like there are two people doing this project but actually, it is only me...haiz...long story man... to summarise everything, i think I am the one at fault coz I am too busy with all the other projects, eg: teacher's day video taking and the powerpoint slides. So everyday, I have to stay back to take videos of the other classes. But somehow, i think I have only taken a few classes becoz most of them can't be bothered I guess.
Btw, I am using my facilitator's laptop now...hahas^^ i borrowed it frm him hahas^^

Marine Parade library
Yo people~
i am at Marine Parade library now... doing the Touch community project.
told you before... my group have joined another group doing about this Marine Parade library thing. I just realised that we are going to do something about Germany on a panel on the highest floor. All's going well i guess but there is quite a number of people i know... to people it might be a good idea but to me, it ain't good at all... i know them only their name but not so well...example, Chen Han from sec 2. He is also from Tao Nan School, same as me. I feel so left out over here!!!! y2 got sth on so she won't be here...talk to you later
